Saturday, July 27th, 2024 3:00-5:00 pm - Guest speaker: Dr. Tatsuya Ishikawa DC presenting information on body movement and health relative to dance. Also join us for Open Floor dancing, percussion playing: drums and zils.
Saturday, August 24th, 2024 3:00-5:00 pm Guest speaker: Ari Salim Marcus, musician speaking on his experience playing Middle Eastern music and working with dancers. We will also dance and play percussion together. Bring your zils, drums and riqs available to borrow.
Saturday, September 14, 2024 12 noon - 5:00 pm Special Event with Guest speaker Sherifa Zuhur author of "Popular Dance and Music in Modern Egypt". And, Ali Hamidzadeh with Egyptian costumes, and finger cymbals. Join us for dancing and mini lessons throughout the day on finger cymbals and rhythms.
Oasis Circle Mission
The Oasis Circle is a safe place to inspire others, rejuvenate yourself, and share your passion, knowledge, and skills with an engaged Bellydance Community!
One of our goals is a newsletter covering a wide range of topics that our community is interested in, as well as promoting Oasis Circle hosted events like Dancer Nights and Swap Events, and also noting upcoming events by members in our dance community.
We will offer a "free" Dancer Meeting Group to focus on camaradarie and building relationships. We will offer videos of great performances, O(pen Floor dancing and drum circle, and interesting activities like facilitated stretching. Other activities will be added if there is interest. … as well as anything else that comes up, if there is an interest.

Bring a drum or borrow a doumbeq or riq. Bring your finger cymbals and enjoy dancing together.
